I went to the grocery store today and spent $130. That's not counting the $30 that I spent on WIC's dime. I JUST went to the grocery store and did hardcore shopping last Monday, and we've been out of food for two days, so we've had to eat out or scrounge up stuff around the house -- last night we ate chicken and two cans of peas for dinner. It's just me, hubby, and daughter here -- hubby works and is only home for one meal a day except on weekends, and the toddler doesn't eat all that much. I'm starting to feel like a giant pig.

The funny part is, I'm still not gaining much weight at all. Where is it all going?

I would say that baby is taking it all. I haven't gained any weight either. I am hoping i will gain some in the later half of my pregnancy. :

Semi-related -- I have been DYING for an ice-cream sandwich. Like, it's all I can think about. But my stupid grocery store that I normally go to doesn't seem to have any non-dairy ice cream type stuff, and since my toddler is allergic, I'm avoiding dairy. But I went to the other store, and found these AWESOME soy ice cream sandwiches! Just like the real thing! PLUS, they carry Silk yogurt, so I can give her some to get her gut back into shape after that nasty stomach bug she had. YAY! I'm switching grocery stores.
