Hi mamas!

I'm so excited that pretty soon Ill be meeting this little being inside me. I can't wait to find out if this little one is a boy or a girl.. if he or she has daddy's eyes.. or mommy's hair.. It's just so amazing.

I've had a really strong feeling that this baby was coming this Sunday from the very beginning even though the official guess date is Jan 6th, and I'm a FTM. Of course, everyone thinks I'm crazy besides my husband.

I was measuring 2 weeks ahead for most of my early pregnancy and at around week 30 I started measuring 2 weeks behind. Now, fundal height can be wildly inaccurate, but it was unsettling for me... last week I measured 34 1/2 at 36 weeks.. This week I'm back to 38 1/2.. woohoo and the baby is definitely locked and loaded. I haven't had a single braxton hicks but in the last few days I can definately tell something different is going on down there. We also got the results of my Group B Strep test today and it was negative!!! Woohoo! My blood pressure is still low and the baby is doing great.. reactive heartbeat and lotsa squiggles.

I have been getting weekly massages for the last two weeks and will continue till the baby comes...and chiropractic adjustments on a bimonthly schedule since the end of my second trimester. I started acupuncture last week to start getting my energy aligned and encouraging my body to open for the birth. This Friday will be the first session that we get anywhere near any points that could bring contractions and I'm super excited. I've practically drowned myself in RRL tea, practiced my hypnobabies religiously and the birth tub is being delivered on Thursday! It's all happening! My diaper covers are all sewn, the cloth diapers and all the clothes are washed... I even finished my freezer stash- 6 weeks of dinners, breads and desserts and probably a couple weeks of lunches and snacks. Christmas presents are in the mail as of today, all shower thank yous and Christmas cards are out too. I just feel so ready. I actually have no idea what Im going to do if this baby doesnt come soon... twiddle my thumbs?

Anyone else totally ready? What are you doing to bide your time?

I've been totally ready for awhile now, but I've got an 18 month old to keep me occupied My last pregnancy I had 8 weeks off before babe was born and I thought I would go INSANE, and the darn kid came right on his due date! The best thing I did at the end was to just try to relax and not do too much. Enjoy napping when you feel like it, take time to read or do a hobby.

SAM, momma to 3 beautiful babies: Tristan (5), Gabriel (4) , & Brighton (2)

Wow, good for you! You're so prepared! My little one isn't due until the very end of January so I was planning on starting all of my preparations when we reach January. I have a frozen turkey that I intend to make into pot pies. I was going to make a few lasagnas too. Who knows how I'll be feeling at that point though! I commend you!

Organic-mama,
Any reading suggestions? I've been reading everything I can get my hands on regarding sleep and childhood development. I figure I need to stop since Ive reached the teenage years

photogirl,
I wanted to get all my freezer cooking done before I got too huge. Now Im glad I did, but hope everything is packaged well... this baby is super low and I couldnt do alot of cooking right now.

Shanna and To-Fu,

I wish I could, it would pass the time. Do you guys have any salt and vinegar chips? I think that is the only thing that would get me off the couch today.
