I'm currently about 35 lbs overweight. I had just started to make some progress in losing weight when I got my BFP.
Sooo I was thinking, I could keep doing what I'm doing, and try to maintain my current weight for as long as I can, rather than go up or down during the pregnancy. In theory, if I maintain my weight, it means that *I* am losing weight at the same rate my *baby* is growing.
What I'm doing is nothing drastic - just daily exercise, and I eliminated caffeine/sugar from my diet. I'm a grazer, so instead of grazing on pretzels and potato chips, I graze on carrots and celery sticks, etc. I'm fairly certain I would have to step up the exercise to maintain my weight, though.
