There's a Mama here on MDC who feels she has a knack for guessing a baby's gender. The thread has gone crazy with posts (it started earlier this month and has almost 400 posts already!) but she's keeping up with them!! Here's what she says about it....

Quote:
Anyway, I'm usually pretty in tune with pregnant women- I know people are pregnant before they do usually, and often when I'm out I'll see somebody and instantly know she's pregnant- even though she isn't showing at all and may not even know herself.

Along with this, I seem to be especially good at guessing genders- I seem to be right about 95% of the time.

She guessed boy for me.

Post as soon as you do know! I'm excited to see how accurate she is. My sister is also VERY good at guessing but won't yet for this little one. She's not 100% sure yet and won't guess until she is.

Well, she guessed a girl for me!!! I keep coming back to a girl, can't settle on a boy name, and refer to baby as she or her quite often. Now I can't wait til March to see if she is correct!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess it would be awful to insist on an u/s just to check her accuracy!!!!! JK

I saw this thread earlier but forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder. I just sent my info over. We'll see what she cooks up. Pretty cool.

I think she's pretty good, I was glad she picked up on the same thing I have that's been driving me batty! (Strongly sensing both a boy and a girl, u/s says only one!) It was nice having someone understand my craziness, lol.

She said girl for me, with lots of dark, curly hair! Early on, I was feeling "boy", but since I've been feeling movement, I've been feeling "girl" much more strongly. I also had a dream last week where Robin was about 9 mos. old, and she was a beautiful, laughing girl with dark curly hair! So that clinches it for me ! I've changed my official prediction.

We'll find out next week! (unless she's a modest one )

I know a lot of Mamas here are getting ultrasounds. Whether you know or not yet, post and see if she guesses right. I'd love to see what her accuracy is!
