All my best wishes and hopes are with you, your little ones, and your family.

My last pregnancy, my son's odds of survival fluctuated from 10% to 65%. Any hope is hope. He's here now and thriving.

Do keep us updated!

Good for you for advocating for yourself and your babes and great that there is a clear plan for monitoring, delivery, and surgery if needed. I will be thinking of you and sending good vibes to your boys.

I'm so glad you made the decision to take matters in your own hands and arm yourself with the best information and setting for delivery. You are a great Mama with some very lucky boys, and I wish you all the best!

Oh Mama, if only you knew. I am NO psychic but I have always tried to follow my gut. I knew the day I found out I was pregnant that it was a boy...and by the next day I was thinking twins (and I was only5 weeks along). From the start my gut has been telling me something was not right and it was honing in on Sean (Twin A). Now with this syndrome, Sean is my "recipient" as the lingo goes and is in the most danger over the long term.

Instincts ar SO important. We have them for a REASON. Wild animals use them to survive and so should we. Only society has beat the desire to really listen to ourselves right out of us! There is a great book having NOthing to do with pregnancy, etc. about instincts and how to recognize them and safeguard your life and the safety of those around you. Its called "The Gift of Fear" by Gavin DeBecker. Everyone should read it butmost especially women.

Thank you all for your kind words, support, prayers...Please keep them coming. I will update as I can.

I am so sorry you are dealing with this. I hope it stays at level one indefinitely and you can have a full term pregnancy. You are in our thoughts!

HAve you read "Protecting the Gift" - about using that instinct to protect our children . . . . very well written, though frightening to any parent.

But I agree on the importance of trusting one's instincts - and helping others to listen to them as well. I believe this baby wouldn't be alive with me now if I hadn't pushed for a work up for my recurrent losses ("It's just bad luck . . . " , "You'll carry the next baby to term, according to the statistics . . . "). I *knew* something wasn't right, and the workup proved me correct. . . .and now we are treating me and this baby lives! Amazing.

I will be thinking of you!

I have read Protecting the Gift - most of it anyway. My dh borrowed it when I was halfway through and took it out of state with im on a trip, loaned it out without permission and I have yet to get it back. As If I expected to. AND it was signed to me from the author! Hrmph. I was a little pissy when I found out he'd loaned it out!
