I don't have a Wegmans near me. It really bothers me that they said it is still safe to use. If you put food, especially produce, in the bag isn't the food coming into contact with the lead? Am I missing something? Lead really scares me. We had a lead scare when we were renovating our house, and had the kids tested. Luckily they were fine, but I will probably retest in a couple of months just to be sure. Lead is not something to mess around with and I would not continue to use those bags.
