i haven't really researched infant seats since we had our first baby 6 years ago. with babies #2 and #3, we just stayed with the graco snugride because that's what we used before. i got rid of our seat over the summer (and it would be expired by the time we need it anyways) so i'm searching again. it seems like there have been a bunch of changes/improvements/etc since i last looked at seats!

so...looking for recommendations for an infant bucket that has higher weight/height ratings. doesn't really matter how heavy the seat is, as i rarely take it out and use it in the carrying capacity. just for the occasional dr appts and chiro visits, or in bad weather, i prefer wearing baby instead.

Infant seats that will last a while, fit newborns well and install well in most vehicles include the Graco Snugride 35, the Chicco Keyfit 30, the Safety First Onboard Air 35, and the Combi Shutttle 33/35.  I think you'd be happy with any of those :-)
