I'm wondering if there's a way to get 3 boosters in the back row of a minivan.

We have a Sienna LX (06) and can't get our graco turbobooster in the middle seat of the back row, because the space between the buckle stalks is so narrow.

Is there a booster that fits there? (backless is fine)

Or is there an 8-seater van that will take 3 boosters in the back row? And if so, which boosters?

If your child is the appropriate age and size for the clek LBBs, I highly recommend those.  I can't recall the exact width right now (it's diagrammed on their website) but 2 years ago I had to find the narrowest boosters on the market to fit my son and niece for a road trip, and clek was it.

My 7yo definitely needs one, my 10 yo still feels more comfortable in one even when sitting on the side, and definitely needs one for the middle (seat belt comes from ceiling). I want to be able to carpool with kids who need boosters, but I think 2 backless boosters would be OK if we need to use them space-wise, because the headrests on the van are adjustable.

I can't use the middle row, because both seats have rf carseats installed.

Ok, in your situation, I would buy both the 7 and 10 year old Harmony LiteRiders.  http://www.walmart.com/ip/Harmony-Juvenile-Youth-Booster-Car-Seat-Chocolate/16939671   Those are comfortable and deep enough for older kids, but externally great for 3 across.   THEN, I would grab a Bubblebum to use in the middle seat if you have an extra kiddo along for the ride.   All 3 of those should fit in the back with room to spare :-)  http://www.amazon.com/Inflatable-Portable-Booster-Seat-PURPLE/dp/B003GQ0LQ8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1343768540&sr=8-1&keywords=bubblebum

Thanks for the recommendations. I had been thinking about the harmony (the Clek look great, but I'd rather a more budget-friendly seat).

Does anyone know how wide it is in the back?

ETA - just found the company website, that says the outside width is 17", which seems really wide. I guess the dimension I really need is the bottom of the back  where it needs to fit between the buckle stalks.

Oh shoot, I didn't realize you're Canadian :(  For the record, that Harmony seat is called the "Youth Booster" seat, and despite its measurements, the way its designed makes it basically one of the narrowest backless boosters and very very easy to puzzle next to other seats.    The Bubblebum may be out, though, unfortunately.  I know they're planning to come to Canada, but I don't think they've done it yet.
