I hear the stair pads with backings dont stay in place. The home depot has an elaborate carpet set up which must include drilling/installation and is expensive. Any quick ideas for an apartment dweller? I think i saw rubberized mats somewhere but figured they may move around too? Do people glue them down without ruining the floor? Stairs are feeling harder to be quiet on with this pregnant body and also sending "loud" vibrations.. Is this a hard one to safely solve?
