Can you fit 3 across (1 RFing) in a 1996 Chevy 350 king cab?  I have a 5 year old, a 3 year old (that is usually still RFing my my van, but I am ok with turning part time) and a 11 month old.  I can buy a few car seats to make this happen.  I already have a sunshine kids and a recaro (close to the pro ride) that are both pretty narrow.

Have you checked our reviews for smaller car seats? I remember there was one that was small and fit in the back of a VW Beetle.

Here it is: Perfect for tiny cars!

Have you tried installing the two seats you have and seeing how much space you have available?

Who is currently using which seats?

How big is each child? (height, weight and shirt size)?

The seat that Cynthia posted wouldn't make sense in your situation--- it would be quickly outgrown if not already outgrown by your youngest (given birth weight and age).

Do you have a budget in mind?  What seats do you have in your van?

Recently put my 3 in a Chevy truck. Not sure the year, but old enough to not have latch. Granted, I have narrow seats (2 radians and a kiddy cruiserfix) but it was very roomy! There was a few inches between each seat. Especially with a rf seat in the middle, I'd guess about any seat combo would fit back there! Unless they were unreasonably huge or something.

Thanks so much ladies!  I should have added a bit more info...

We are THINKING of buying a truck and a camper and one of these Chevy's are on craigslist for super cheap, but it is an hour away, so I didn't want to go look at it if there was no possibility to have 3 car seats in it.  I will check again since it sounds like it could work!

Thanks
