Goodness I sure do miss the common sense in the US in reguards to carseat safety.. Dh and I are still sometimes in shock to see new mothers up front holding their babies or 6-7 kids with none in a carseat or bucked up. It was very hard for us to adjust to dd#2 who is 6 not being in a booster out oldest was in one still she was 9. People would joke that her DH was going to have a booster in his car for when they get married
The hardest was when a friend of ours wife had a child and we gave them a ride from the hospital home and dh just sat there stunned when she got in and was holding the baby in her arms..dh said he wanted to puke. But nobody else seems to care in fact only one shop carries them and they are so pricy that we would have to save up to buy one. Goodness just another thing I miss about home.
