Which booster seats are the most narrow? We are about to have a baby, have a 4 1/2 yr old DD and often drive her little friend places with us. The three seats fit in the back seat, but there is no way the pre-schoolers could buckle themselves - just way too tight. Any suggestions?

I assume the booster is for the friend? (She's at least 40 and 4, right?)

The Fisher Price Safe Voyage booster is the narrowest on the market

Well, the narrow boosters are for the two older ones. And yes, they are both 40 lbs, 40 inches and 4 1/2. Awesome, we will check out that seat. thanks.

If this is a full time seat for your 4 year old, I would look into a harnessed seat. While she meets the minimums, a 4 year old is sooo much safer in a harnessed seat.
