I'm cautiously poking my head in here.....we've had 2 miscarriages since December, the last one was a partial molar, and we started TTC earnestly after my last lmp of July 13th. Don't tell my doc.....lol. I've had some reassuring symptoms the last few days, but I guess they can be attributed to pms too. My normally a cup breasts are heavy, hot, and very tender, I also have rls (thanks to whoever mentioned that...I didn't realize it was a preg. symptom until you posted that)..have had it for a week or so now. It's driving me crazy. Tired, queasy, out of sorts....I plan to test on Saturday. Oh yes, the DREAMS!! My goodness, I have been having (ahem) some *interesting* dreams.

Wish me luck. I really need for this pregnancy to go well. I've been having a rough year so far.

Misti, mom to DS (12), DS (9), DD (3), and Mr. Man (October '10)!

I'm in! I tested last Friday and my EDD is April 5/8. I have no symptoms yet and since I miscarried last April I'm freaking out. My OB won't see me until the end of August but I called their office this morning to see if I can at least get a blood test to check my hormone levels.

Congrats to everyone!

I've had symptoms for about a week now - fatigue (should be napping now as DD is), nausea, super sensitive to certain smells, and a strange one for me: odd/painful milk let-down.

I just went a bought a test. Will post with the results in the morning.

Anyone know what the tests really mean when they say "effective X days before period is expected?" I have a really short LP, and I'm wondering if by 'the date that your period is expected' they really mean 14 days after ovulation or if they truly mean when your period is expected, however long after ovulation that may be.

My symptoms so far are sensitvity to smells and feel REALLY tired every few days. I had slight cramping for about a week, but it's gone now. I really don't feel very pregnant right now. But I'm sure the nausea will hit me soon and change my mind :nana:

I've been surprised at how early my symptoms showed up. I get tired easily, I've had a few bouts of nausea, I am sensitive to bad smells, I pee constantly, and I have had a lot of twingey/stretchy/crampy sensations. My DH was positive that I was pregnant before I even tested because I was so tired. The only symptom I had this early with DD was the crampy sensations, but I had a severe progesterone deficiency with her, so I'm guessing that's the difference.

I'm 5 weeks today! So far no real symptoms other than a bit of dizziness at odd times and more frequent urination. I'm crossing my fingers that I don't get hit hard with m/s until after I get home from Europe- I'll be exactly 7 weeks when I fly home alone, and I dread the thought of that plane ride with m/s :

We aren't telling anyone (including family) for at least 12 weeks, so I'm excited to be home and able to post more to our DDC and get to know all of you!

I'm definitely in!!!
Had a hugely negative reaction to finding the new out but I think I've made peace with my circumstances (pg included) and am going to expect the best
Having a ddc was soooooo great with my second ds. I'm so excited to have a group of mamas to be preggo buddies with!!

I'm going to go ahead and poke my head in here . . . got a + this afternoon, though faint.

We had a BC oops on day 10 of my cycle. I was stunned for 24 hours, but then I started warming up to the idea of another babe. So I'm pleased as punch to have gotten the + now. Funny how that works.

Congrats to everyone, looking forward to sharing the next 8+ months!

So is anyone else's boobs starting to change? I guess mine are a little fuller but the weirdest thing is my nipples, they seem to have gotten bumpy???
Anyone else ever had this or is currently having this?
I'm only 31 days along. 4 weeks, three days.

Ha! If you think THIS is TMI : just wait till we start talking secretions as we progress in our pregnancies. That's the great thing about a ddc.. you've got lots of other mamas to compare notes with

My breasts have been through two babies and toddlers in the past four years so they aren't feeling much of anything right now, or looking any different for that matter. But if this is your first, it's not uncommon that you should be noticing weird changes.

This is my first pregnancy while still nursing (the other kids were 13 years apart).

I'm feeling more tired than last time and am worried both about DD receiving less milk (she has dairy allergies and the BM is a pretty significant part of her dietary intake) and worried about me maintaining and adequate diet for the growing babe.

Wondering how other nursing pregnant mamas are handling nutrition during their pregnancy.

I'm still nursing my 16 month old DD. Only time will tell what happens but I'm not worried as I have never lost milk before and I never nursed through a pregnancy before. I think I'm just one of the lucky ones. She nurses at least 10-12 times a day now. I'm not really worried at all about it...I am worried about her sharing her boobies with the new babe! She's mighty territorial with them! DH will pretend to try to get some and she attacks him!
