So we found out last week I was pregnant (YAY!) and I'm so scared because I dont want to m/c this baby. Well then I get a really bad cold, like I cant breathe, cant sleep, sinus headaches, and its finally starting to clear up. And now? Diarrhea! I seem to have caught some great old stomach bug. Its really frightening me because I had severe cramping on Monday where I thought for sure I was m/c but it just went away. Then I read that diarrhea is a sign of m/c?? I havent really had any cramping since Monday night and I still have my pregnancy symptom (just one so far!) so I'm still holding out hope! Anyway I just am feeling lousy. Thanks for listening :

I hate hate hate being sick when I'm pregnant. In fact that's usually about the only time I get sick. A mild cold got me thinking about it before I took the test.

Anyhow, I hope you feel better soon and that all it is a little bug, nothing more.

I don't think diarrhea is strongly linked to m/c. Anyway, I had terrible diarrhea two weeks ago, and things are still going strong here .

Hope your cold clears up soon--I've got a mild sinus infection that cropped up last night and I feel your pain .

thanks for the commiseration. I'm lucky that DH stayed home from his second job last night to hang out with us. He went grocery shopping for me AND cooked me dinner! That helped a lot. I hope we're all feeling better soon!!

Yes! when I was a kid and I got 'snotty' my grandmother would jam one in my nose with warm salt water-helped out a lot, actually!
