Joining ya'll today.

I am about 5-6 weeks along with our second child. I am not giving a due date b/c it caused too much stress last time when I went two weeks past EDD and started having to screen my calls and answer with, "No baby's not here yet." So I'm just saying that I'll probably be late April/early May.

I really enjoyed being pregnant with DS and hope this pregnancy is as good.

I am hoping/planning for a homebirth which I'm really excited about b/c I just moved from a state that wasn't very MW friendly and it was pretty much impossible to HB there unless you went UC which I didn't want to do. This state is MUCH more friendly to MWs and I'm excited about going that route with this babe.

Can't wait to get to know ya'll more.

Jen

Congrats and welcome! I absolutely agree...I'm not sharing a due date, either. My dad and others called me CONSTANTLY when I went to 42 weeks and I just can't take it again. In fact, I'm telling my dad that I am due a month later than I actually am. I have discussed with my (new) Dr. that I felt tremendous pressure over my due date last time and he has agreed to say "late March/early April" and base the due date he uses on ultrasounds instead of the all knowing wheel.

Happy 9 months!
