She weighs 8 lb 12 oz and we probably won't measure her until tomorrow.
She's suckled briefly, but is more interested in looking about and holding my fingers than nursing much.
I haven't done the full math but we're counting labor beginning with ROM at 3:15am and ended at her birth - 6:44pm.
She was born at home in the presence of her mama and daddy. My other kids were downstairs because I just wanted the solitude.
More details tomorrow (or when I'm up to it).

Meghan is a vigorous nurser and the mature milk is starting to come in now. She's a sleepy baby, but nurses well whether she's awake or sleeping.
I'm recovering very quickly - due in part, I believe, to the placenta smoothies! We're using a mix of organic berry juice, strawberries, bananas, and placenta - yummy!
I've done a few perineal checks and looks like NO tears as well!
