Baby girl came last wednesday at 9:24pm with a fury! She was 7lbs 6oz, 19" long, has pretty light brown hair all around her head but not right in the front, hehe....

I am doing great, she is such a great baby but we are having trouble BFing, I BFed my last one with no issues other than soreness so this is all new to me!
If anyone can help me, I am so tired and so ready to give up!
Here is the post in the BFing challenges forum, so I dont have to repost!

I have no advice to offer but wanted to let ya know I feel for ya
Hope things look up for you soon!
You're awsome for continuing to try so hard!
Keep up the good work mommy, I'm sure things will turn around!

Congrats on the baby. I'm jealous, mine should be here now, LOL.

I would second, third, what not the advice to get her checked for being tung tied. Also maybe try a warm compress on your breast for a few minutes before you feed her.

wish i had some advice. i know how frustrating nursing problems can be. keep trying and remember to try to relax when you sit down with her to nurse. i used to get so frustrated and upset that i'd end up crying and making things worse since my baby would get upset too. you can do it mama! don't give up.

I agree with everyone that said to call an LLL leader and check for tongue tie. I'm sorry it's so rough. I hope you can figure it out really soon!

I second getting the tongue tie checked out. 2 of my kids had that and needed to be clipped in order to bf. I would be wary of a shield; the LC had me use one with my 2nd and not only did it mess with my milk supply but it was very difficult to wean my son off of it. I found LLL to be sooo helpful.

Good luck to you!
