If you're able (I know it is hard for me to even write the names of the foods that make me want to hurl), tell us what foods are just NOT happening for you this pregnancy.

I have discovered that mine are off limits the hard way.

Mine are:

* oranges. Anything orange smelling really. We had to toss our regular cleaner b/c it was making me sick.
* ginger. Sadly the candied ginger and ginger ale that helped me through the first week of m/s has turned and now the thought of it makes me ... yuck.
* banana.
* mint.
* anything Mexican.
* really, anything sweet. This, sadly, includes ice cream. I have no taste for it (but hey, load me up with a loaf of garlic bread)
* green peppers.
* oatmeal.

there are more. I just haven't discovered them yet.

this pregnancy has been quite similiar to the last...i can't stand the smell, taste, look of meat or fresh veggies. the only fruit i can stomach is apples, so it's been way too much bread, pasta, and other carbs for me....

Mine may be too numerous to mention.

- meat
- soy meatballs (omg about gagged just writing that)
- edamame
- spaghetti (but other noodles are fine)
- most veggies
- oatmeal

There are very few things I'm really willing to eat right now, and what I do eat I am eating repeatedly!

Just thinking about frosted doughnuts and other pastries makes me cringe.

I am totally repulsed by tofu (in any form) right now, and I used to love it!

I am also usually averse to whatever it was I ate yesterday, resulting in multiple trips to grocery, fast food (ugh), or restaurants in search of something that will taste good.

Mine vary from day to day, it seems.

For a while, I was on a mashed potato or stuffing kick. Now they both sound kind of gross (well, mashed potatoes sound OK sometimes).

I had guacamole a few weeks ago, and it tasted just NASTY... then all the sudden last night, I felt the urge, and it was just about the best thing I've ever eaten in my life.

I'm so inconsistent.

Me+DH+DS1+DS2+Dog=me and a house full of guys, which is really just peachy, thanks.

Just about anything sweet (though there are a few things I can stand).

We went apple-picking last weekend, and I couldn't stand having the apples sitting in the kitchen. Had to make DH take them to work.

Mint
Dry crackers
Any hot beverages

And on top of that my aversions change constantly. I'm like you, LeAnnie. If I eat something one day, there's a pretty high chance it's going to gross me out the next day. Blech.

I don't have specific food aversions...they seem to change every day. However, it often seems like when it comes time to cook dinner, I just can't think of anything (that we actually have the ingredients for) that sounds good. Something that I ate happily a day or two ago now sounds gross and makes me nauseuous. I feel a little sorry for the rest of the family when they come home and it's bean burritos for dinner "again"!

Anything with sugar. It's my first aversion, and just hit yesterday (after I posted that I was feeling GRRRRRRRRREAT, of course). I can do fruit, but anything like ice cream, zucchini bread, honey, cookies... yuuck. I can't even drink tea with just a TINY bit of honey in it, so I've been drinking tea plain (which is really weird for me) and drinking about 3 litres of water a day!

Garlic, garlic bread, garlic smells....
Broccoli
Chicken

To a lesser degree:

Everything that we have in the fridge looks gross to me right now. I feel bad b/c DH will be home from work in an hour and I can't bring myself to touch any of the food to make dinner.

the cruellest aversion I can think of: chocolate.

I dunno what's going on, it's so strange. The last couple days it has been less, maybe I'm overcoming it.

Last time I had a protein aversion and this time I crave it, so I guess this is healthier for the little critter

Very sweet things. I made cake balls for birthdays this past weekend (bake the cake, let cool then dump it in a bowl and mix with frosting, form balls & freeze overnight. Coat with almond bark). The smell of htem made me gag, I didn't even try one. I tried cake yesterday and yuck. I had a chai this morning and it was just way too icky sweet for me. The smell of *chocolate* made me gag. The smell of donuts. Yikes.

The smell of donuts was a big thing with my pregnancy with my daughter.

I do want fruit though and I drank a lemonade and had a little ice cream cake the other day and all of that was fine.

Mexican...I have eaten it twice now and both times ended up feeling really bad afterwards. So, I'll be staying away from that for a while.

most veggies especially broccoli.
It changes, but not much of anything sounds good these days. I am living on yogurt and carbs.
