I drink a lot of peppermint tea to help with nausea. I also add a slice of lemon to my water to add variety. I also started drinking ginger tea too.

Nettle tea, red raspberry leaf tea. Bone and/or vegetable broth with a little salt added. Warm soups--there's a chicken and coconut soup that is really brothy that I love that I hope to make later this week.

Oh--and I forgot my favorite. Homemade nut or seed milk mixed with blackstrap molasses. This is my anti-morning sickness potion; I drink it every morning. (soak nuts or seeds of choice overnight, rinse well, blend with water, strain, add molasses to taste.)

With my last pregnancy I had lots of chocolate milk and chocolate milkshakes, but you probably want healthy advice

SPARKLING WATER. Seriously.

I was so upset b/c I couldn't stand the idea of drinking soda. Yes, it tasted good while I was drinking it, but I don't do well with all the sugar afterward. Regular still water was not appealing - the only thing that sounded OK was soda and gatorade.

My hubby bought some fizzy water for me this weekend. Once I put tons of ice in it, it was amazing. Really made me feel good - the water helped my nausea AND I was happy that I was drinking water and not soda.

not in your DDC, but

have you tried cucumber water? Seriously, I know it sounds odd but its really yummy. Just throw a few thin slices of cucumber into a container of water and let it sit for a bit. My favorite is to do a few slices of cucumber and a few slices of orange. It just tastes fresh.

Kind of like what Pumpkin suggested...throwing mint leaves in water gives it a nice refreshing boost as well!

How bad are artificial sweeteners? Because I have been drinking diet lemonade on those days when water just is not going to work. I don't usually drink it, just started coz of the nausea.

Ooh, sparkling water with a little grapefruit juice in it sounds tasty. Going to add to my grocery list now

You can get really creative with flavored waters now. I have seen lavender water. Cucumber water is great. My favorite pregnancy drink is sparkling water, splash of cranberry and a twist of lime. I also love ginger beer and apple beer for a special treat. You can get no alcohol and no HFC kind out there.

I've been loving club soda, ginger ale and seltzer water lately! You can add some juice to the seltzer for a kick! :-)

I am loving these! They go down so smooth. I also like water, no ice. And at Starbucks, they have a pomegranate tea with lemonade that is really nice. A tall is just $2.
