I know, as if we need another bishey vent post. I am literally drying tears of frustration about the people around me right now, and I can not for my life decide if it's just me or these friggin idiots.

It started last night with my mom coming over and telling me I won't have the baby til June 7 or later so to just quit "acting" like I'm hurting so bad. She even said all my kids have come late so what am I hoping for. (one of my three was late...by two days...the other two were early, by three days and by two weeks...thanks mom) I was so irritated. Blew it off, people get weird around pregnant ladies, and besides, some of you have gone thru way worse from family. I went to bed.

Wake up this morning, and dh informs me his buddy is otw over as I am opening my eyes...with his two kids to play with my four year old at McD's. What ever, I close my bedroom door (I have made it a little suite in here, everything short of a fridge lol). The guy comes into the house with his kids, is so incredibly loud and has the balls to knock on my bedroom door, calling my name cause he brought his gf with him and they want me to go to McD's with them. I yelled thru the door (pissed that I even have to do so) that I just woke up, wasn't expecting company and I'm not going. He argues with me...at this point I want to choke my husband for letting this happen. They finally leave, and when they return, the *** **** comes back to my door and yells my name 3-4 times thru the door, very loud, which is unlocked so my kids could come in if they needed me. And then keeps talking to my dh "she's not answering me" I am literally sitting on my bed, in my nighty, staring at the door in panic as if I were naked, waiting for this guy to open it. Finally it creaks open and my husband looks at me. I said a few cuss words, and loudly proclaimed if I wanted to come out and f'ing play I would have and I am pissed that I am being harassed not only in my own home, but from behind a closed bedroom door for ****'s sake!!! My dh tells the guy "she's all swollen and tired, she's not coming out" so the guy yells I know you are swollen, I wanna show my gf your feet.

WTFH?!?!?!?!!!!! I yelled back GTFO...after he left I totally broke down crying. I feel harassed and chased into a corner in my own home! I am so mad, and so shocked that I don't even know how to handle it. I have never felt so assaulted, and at the same time, my husband just stood there and let it happen.

Am I being over sensitive? omg, I just feel like I have no damn escape from the world...it's no wonder my feet look like Shreks feet and my BP is sky high today. I don't know if I should go run some errands for alone time, or try to hide in my room, which now doesn't feel safe!

Sorry this is so long...I just had to lose it....and my journal wasn't cutting it. Feel free to hijack the thread and break down yourself if you need to. We should just leave all the negative crap on one thread anyway so the rest can be happy posts yeah?

OMG!!!! That is horrible!!!! It is SOOOOO not you or your hormones, it is those insensitive *****'s around you. And your mom? So not sympathetic or helpful/encouraging AT ALL. No wonder you are closing yourself in your bedroom to escape. And DH needs to be horse whipped, seriously. He just stood by and let you be harrassed by his friend...more than once? What a jerk thing to do! I think I would consider becoming a widow after going through that with my DH because he and his friend must have a deathwish!

That's terrible!

Maybe getting out and running errands or doing some retail therapy at Target or something will help calm you down. I would definitely have to get out of the house and do something nice for myself after a morning like that. Sheeeeesh.

Too bad NatureM is in labor, or she could mail your DH's friend (and your DH, if you're feeling vindictive) some vomit.

I would be pissed if someone I didn't want to was BANGING on my bedroom door. My DH would've tackled anyone that dare bother me before I bothered to get up and to go to McD's or to have his gf look at your feet?!?! wtf? It's not like he had a tub of ice cream that he just had to give you. A*@

At some point I may have opened the door and tackled him. No jury would convict you.

You are now to instruct you DH to not let that man back in the house!
And your Mom, tell her to shut it too!

Gee maybe it is hormones - I'm all riled up for you

I want to vomit on him myself. I feel a little better, thanks for the support and the ears, I was just so so so upset. And moreso I think with DH. I tried to mention it to him, and he kinda blew me off saying his buddy was just trying to be funny/have fun. I said I felt it was at my expense and I did not feel protected at all-which is dh's job! He kinda snapped at me and then he said sorry, although I think moreso just to shut me up, I don't think he gets it how bad that sucked for me. He just doesn't understand how much the last part of pregnancy sucks, let alone to be harassed on top of it.

I am going to take a hot shower (baths kinda gross me out) and scrub all my crevices (that I can reach) and then Im going to the pet store. My little chihuahua needs a new collar and just walking around looking at cute furry faces will cheer me up.

Tomorrow's a new day right?

Can I station you outside my door while I take a shower? lol. I can see the headlines "harassed pregnant woman flies off the handle...." we could all just sit on the jerk with all our belly weight until HE barfs.

Definitely them, not you. I get annoyed when my doula friend comes over on Thursdays to play games and I've shut myself in the den and she comes in during breaks to ask if I'm keeping up with my compresses and if I want some tea... that's weird pregnancy hormones (why else would I possibly be upset at someone offering to bring me tea?). What happened to you would make me feel violated even if I weren't pregnant.

And I'm all angry and indignant on your behalf now. I hope no innocent bystander wanders into the living room in the next few minutes and asks me to do, well, anything. Things might be thrown.

Pregnant or not, if someone (other than dh or child) came banging on my door seeking a response they would probably end up with some damage! I am totally shocked. I am sorry that your husband isn't getting it -- that would make me even more upset!

Enjoy your shopping!

I can't fathom how another human could think it's okay to be so incredibly rude. What a d-bag.

Seriously, if anyone treated me like that in MY own home they would be crawling out of there, not walking. Even if I wasn't pregnant, ESP if I was.

Your DH is being totally inconsiderate as well.

Puppies, puppies will make you feel better. I think I need to go look at puppies now too!

omg you girls have me all out laughing tonight. I just snorted out loud even...I feel like I have a pack of preggies watchin my back.

DH offered to drive my fat swollen feet to the pet store, which I accepted, and although there were no puppies, there were adorable little bunnies and tons of them, probably left over from Easter or something. Beautiful birds, and a huge fish section. Something about nature just makes me so ...right again. I got my lil boy doggie his new collar. And DH took me out to dinner. Granted we had our four year old with us, and I made not so great food decisions (meatball sub sandwich, garlic fries and fried cheese sticks ) But I sure felt alot better.

I've been home a couple hours now and my tummy isn't so happy about dinner lol. Kinda crampy, like I need to potty *blush* But it was so worth it!

Thanks for all the support, I needed someone to pick up a baseball bat and stand behind me. You guys rock!

And if you ever need some Shrek feet to do some smackdown in your house, you know who to call!

*blink* I am such a freak about personal space that my husband doesn't bring people over without my advance permission. That said, in that situation I would have stomped out of my bedroom screaming, "Get out of my house! Get out! Get out!!!!!!" And I would have chased this guy and his girlfriend out. Oh my goodness. *twitch*

I.... wow. That makes me angry just reading about it.

My advice may not be appropriate for you. That's ok. You are just fine how you are and I am the right kind of me.

I would be the crazy pregnant woman chasing them all the way down the street.

I keep thinking about this and scratch my head and wonder where the H*ll this guys manners are. The guy is clueless.

Yep! I'm the same way. Especially now because I find pants so very uncomfortable at this point that most of the time I'm walking around without them on .

You are not being oversensitive at all, that was completely uncalled for!!! I can't believe someone would do that pregnant or not!

Glad you're feeling a bit better....
