Suddenly I'm sleeping 8 hours at night without waking up for a pee once. This hasn't happened to me in something like 10 years - seriously. I never expected it to happen in late pregnancy! I'm drinking plenty & don't have any symptoms of dehydration - did I just get lucky or has the baby drilled a hole into my bladder & started siphoning it off or something?

when they move down further it can make more room for the bladder.

Wow. Well, I'll take this as a permanent after-effect, if I may. There's clearly more room in there (the mind boggles!) than there has been for years.

good luck! afterward the postpartum hormones make you lose fluids like mad and you're back to waking.

I will hold on to the thought that he has moved down LORD please!!! AS of my mw appt last week he was just "thinking" about my pelvis. I have noticed less urine...and what I am putting out is clear, so i know Im hydrated. Unfortunately my ankles are swollen as heck! I can't wait til he's out and I can pee off all this water...I feel like giant squishy sponge! Everything is mushy and blah!
