Congratulations! I hope you are getting lots of rest after your labor.

I, too, love the name Gregory - it's my brother's name (and I'm Angela)! A wonderful, strong name. Can't wait to see pictures!

Congratulations!
Hope you'll share a picture and your birth story...
How many days past your EDD did you end up going?
Did you end up doing anything to help bring on labor (natural stuff) or not?
Was your Dad still in town and at the birth or had he left already?

We were due around the same time, I think. My due date was May 10th and I had a son on May 15th, at home as well...so I was hoping for you and rooting for you. Enjoy your little one!!!

26 days past EDD
tried some herbals and a massage.
think the massage had the most effect (herbals didn't start anything at the time, stuff started hours later)
my dad skipped his trip to stay

That's awesome! You are lucky you were smart enough to stay home!
In a hospital that would have been...less than as cool as it was!

So did Savannah watch? What does she think?

The length of labor was hard on Savannah, but at parts, and especially at the end she was very supportive. I think she was by my head with her hand on my head or hand for the end of pushing and when he was born.

She's a sweetheart

Hey, I finally decided to join up here, and I thought I would congratulate you for my first post.

I am so thrilled Gregory is FINALLY here. How wonderful that Savannah was able to witness his birth. I so wish that was an option for me. *Sigh* Anyway, I can NOT wait to meet him.

Mama to Ava (12/03) , Leila (4/06) , Violet (11/08) , and bonus mama to Madison (7/98)

The cord wasn't too tight... easily unwrapped after he was out. Sorry- not going to post the caul pics due to the angle...
