I'm just wondering because lately, I've been having sensations in my belly that feel a lot like BH contractions! I'm going to be 8 weeks tomorrow, and my belly hasn't yet reached that all-over rock-hard stage either....which makes it a lot more obvious when you're having them.

I can feel my uterus (when I push hard).....and sometimes I just feel a random tightening in that area. Not after I've done exercise or anything specific.....just random times. It's just for a few seconds and definitely not painful (like a cramp). Is it just preparing for getting bigger? Is it something to worry about (because Lord knows I don't have anything else to worry about )?

I didn't really notice these until much later the first time....and that could have easily been because I didn't know what I was feeling.

Anyone else?

Huh, I've got no idea what you've got going on.

I didn't have *any* BH with my oldest.

I started getting BH around 7mo with my youngest. Mostly when I was cooking, concentrating while on the porcelain throne , walking/exercising and at the gym. I'd have to stop whatever I was doing and wait it out. Got annoying after a while and I had to stop going to the gym around 8.5mo because I was annoyed by the people concerned for me and I didn't want to go into labor there (can you say hospital transfer? .

Got a nice midwife you can ask?

Totally! They start right away - you get BH's even when you're not pg, you just don't feel them so yes, you can have them right away and you can feel them right away depending who you are.

I have already felt them and I'm not due until the end of June.

oh, I think had them too! I didn't notice any with ds, but I have felt tightening and something going on down there. It's to early to feel movement so they must be BH!
