Kylahroo, do you know that there's only one in there? Were you as big with your last baby? I guess since it's your 5th, you're just showing earlier.

I have a little bump, but not too noticeable. I'm going to get a picture later I think, so maybe I'll post it. I love all the little baby bumps!!

Cardinal and mama_tigress, the running joke is there are two in there! Everyone who sees me and finds out I'm not 4 months says it's twins! My kids are hoping for twins anyhow. I figure, at this point, what the heck! What's one more! LOL!

Seriously, though, I know I look huge. It's not uterus, though, it's mostly lack of muscle definition (ahem, bloating/fat). If I try really hard to suck it all in, especially in the morning, I look smaller. However, I can now feel my uterus. I'd say it's the size of a grapefruit right now, possibly on the way to small cantaloupe. Anyone know what it's supposed to be?

Kylahroo - Here's a link to a study on relating fruit size and uterine growth during pregnancy (I know, seriously, someone did a study on it... grad students are really reaching these days, huh! )...

http://www.greenjournal.org/cgi/content/full/98/2/341

From that it sounds like you should be around 12 weeks-ish... How far along are you actually?

Twins in our DDC would be exciting!

I haven't figured out how to "quote" people yet. BlueMoonBean, I count weeks on the weekend and was 11 weeks this past weekend. I love the article. My dh was a grad student for 6 years so I laugh at what grad students come up with to study!

My shape is definitely changing, but it just looks like fat still. And I have such yucky stretch marks. I don't think I will post one til my overhang stretches out. Trust me, y'all don't want to see it right now.

Kylahroo - you own Kangaroo Korner - get out! I have 2 of your slings and LOVE them! I just recommended them on another thread here today. Actually we loaned one to some friends who have not given it back so we may be buying another one. Your slings are awesome! I take mine into my post-natal yoga class (mom and baby) all the time to show my students how to baby-wear. Very cool

Namaste.
