ARRRRGH!!

I'm a nurse in the ER, and we have 4 staff members that are positive for mono!! Grr! DH about flipped ... he looked it up, and it shouldn't cause any birth defects/pregnancy problems, but EXTREME fatigue usually happens with most folks who contract it.

I'm off to make a bubble for myself!

aieee I got mono when I was 17...totally ruined me for 2 months. I had a swollen gland the size of an ege sticking out of the side of my neck. Ugh. Stay FAR away from people and wear a mask if you can. I got it because someone coughed on me in calculus class. I swear, this girl had a mild case but the 8 people seated at the desks directly around her got a base case of mono.

I babysit two kiddos for an hour a day 4x a week and their mom and dad have Mono. I guess I did not give it much thought that I could get it too... yikes! Thankfully I barely see mom (who is the sickest) and dad says he just feels tired, so I don't think I got it/will get it.

Keep safe, wash your hands a lot, and get a ton of rest and I am sure you will stay mono-free!

Be Careful. Momo can be really serious. I had it a while back.

Be careful and take care of yourself! I had it in high school and my lymph node was so swollen I had to go into the hospital on IV because I couldn't swallow anything. I was just horrible. Are the sick people still at work? I hope not!
If they are working, I would say something to them or your boss.
Stay well!!
