Well, it is July and we are at the end of our spotlight list. We've got two mamas left and one of them newfiemomma! Let's make this thread a good one!

How did you meet your dp?

Are your other kiddos excited about the new baby? Any funny stories to tell that they have done?

What initially brought you to mdc?

*formerly apecaut*, Mom to A, Calliope (stillborn 40 weeks 6/22/07), A and O

How did you meet your dp? That's a funny story....I was 16 and my bff was dating a guy and they came up with an idea of setting me up with his best friend so we could all do things together. Well, I was not impressed about a blind date!! I said no a few times but eventually I said yes just to get them off my back. Well that date took place almost 13 years ago and we have been together ever since. We never did date anyone else after that!! We had our ds when I was 19 and he was 22, were married 5 years later and had ds #2 later that same year.

Are your other kiddos excited about the new baby? Any funny stories to tell that they have done? They are really excited, especially now that the time is getting so close. My 4yr old told his Dr a few months ago that he has a brudder and a sista. I thought that was pretty cute!

What initially brought you to mdc?
Honestly, I was looking for a support group of women due close to the same time as me, so I Googled it and came here. I was actually here for months before I realized that MDC was so much more than due date clubs!!

What things have you enjoyed eating this pregnancy?

What is the uncrunchiest thing you do?

What is the most annoying "canada joke" people like to tell you?

Jenna in love with my DH Jon, loving our 2.5 year old, Caroline Tulip, and expecting another little one in August!

What things have you enjoyed eating this pregnancy?
Anything I shouldn't eat! Ice cream mostly, but I love chocolate covered peanuts! I also have a fetish with apple slices with cheddar cheese....yummy!

What is the uncrunchiest thing you do?
The one thing I cannot seem to get away from is using make-up remover cloths. The kind you use once and toss. I have oily skin and I wear make up almost every day, so I fine its really the only thing that makes my skin feel really clean.

What is the most annoying "canada joke" people like to tell you?
LOL! Not a joke so much as an assumption.....so many people think that because I am Canadian, I say "eah" all the time. That irks me. I have been to places where they do say that, but not here. Maybe because I live on an island, a few really Canadian things/sayings never made it this far east! Also, I have had people ask me if we live in igloos. Seriously. Yes, I live on an island in the North Atlantic, but we do have summer! Its 11pm and I have the A/C on. Its not as hot as parts of the States, but hot enough for me!

Are you a night owl or an early bird?

If you had 100 dollars to spend only on yourself, what would you buy/do?

Early bird, especially the last few months!

If you had 100 dollars to spend only on yourself, what would you buy/do?
LOL! The funny thing is that Mom gave me $100 for my birthday last month and its still in my purse! I usually spend my bday money on summer clothes, but I have enough maternity stuff, so I may wait until after to buy clothes for myself. I'm really cheap too, so I think I'm holding on to it because I know how quick it can be gone and I'm back to nothing!
