I'm 38weeks and a few days now, and the baby seems to have dropped some (I can breathe easier, and it just feels lower). Anyway, at yoga on Tuesday and a couple times since then, I've noticed that kegels are feeling kind of uncomfortable. Sometimes they seem to cause small sharp pains up in my "va-jay-jay" (for those of you who watch "The Soup") and other times it's felt like my uterus is having some kinda reaction to them.

I've read that when the baby drops, you can get funny sharp pains around the cervix/vagina area because the baby is pressing on the pelvic floor. Do you think that's why kegels are feeling weird? And why don't they always feel that way now (e.g. I'm kegeling right now and no strange sensations)?
