Oh man...I am seriously flipping out.

I got a faintfaintfaint BFP this morning on an FRER at 11 days post IUI. Here it is:

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x...IMG_5801-1.jpg

Berley see it, but it's there, right? So I called my RE who sent me for a quantitative hCg beta.

Got my results at about 3 pm:

7.

I'm hoping it's really too early. My RE is sending me for a repeat draw on Friday, so I have to go insane wondering until then.

I am so freaking scared. Anyone else with low betas and/or low beta success stories?

Yikes. I honestly don't know what betas should be right now. But it does seem awful early to expect a high number. It also seems like a faintfaintfaint would be expected this early.

I'm sorry to not have any real info for you. But big hugs just the same.

WOW! Those FRER are sensitive...more than what they claim...I'll have to remember that.

According to the chart, 7 looks good to me. I just got a faint positive today at 10 DPO and I'll get my beta back in a couple days.

Tina - mama to DD1 10yrs, DD2 5.5 yrs and DD3 22 mo and wifey to DH.

Oh, wow. You girls are my new best friends.

Thanks so much for the words of wisdom and support.

I'm gonna do another FRER in the am with FMU. If it's darker than today, I think I'll freak out a bit less.

I'm sure you're fine! I'm getting a beta at 12DPO tomorrow and I don't expect it to be very high. Last time mine was 30 at 11DPO I think.

I've done a FRER each of the last 3 mornings and they've gotten darker each day! I hope yours do too!

Hey Best-Friend,
I assume the FRER is a hpt? If so, don't expect it to be darker tomorrow! I realize it could be, but it's just one day, so don't freak yourself out!
Aaaah! You girls make me nervous sometimes.

I am amazed that the frer was that sensitive. wow.

I had better luck with second morning urine. if you get up to pee a million times a night like I have been, it's easier to hold it for a few hrs in the morning.

Yep. It's First Response Early Result. Who knew it would detect 7 mL of hcg?

Insane.

So - I'm taking your advice and not trying to get freaked out by lines or beta numbers. I'm still getting those twinge-y crampy feelings in the bottom of my pelvis, so I'm taking that to be a positive sign.

Thanks so much again. You all rock.

Yep, those things are super sensitive! TMI here, but DH and I only DTD once this month, on the 27th. Just 8 days later, on the 5th, I got a line just slightly lighter than yours! Everything's going to be fine!

Good morning!

So, I tested again with another FRER this morning at 6 am (couldn't sleep - I'm a worrier!)

I think it's a *bit* darker than yesterday's. What do you think?

Yours looks like mine did. I tested 3 times and they were all about the same darkness. I tested at about 8-9dpo (that was the day my period was due). I was shocked to even see a line and the first one was a dollar store one.

I think it takes 48 hours to double or something like that, so it probably wouldn't get THAT much darker!! Goodluck though!

Yes, darker! Let me show you my comparison. The top one is 9DPO, the next is 10DPO...they look just like yours!

It's definitely darker-and any line is a line! My first was barely visible, so I went and bought a digital because no matter how many times my husband saw the two pink lines, he didn't believe it. He wanted to see "pregnant".

Happy SAHM Mom and CBE to three jumpers.gifboys:  DS1 (11/06), DS2 (7/08), DS3 (11/10) and D?4 (12/12)!

Okay, I you guys.

At the risk of sounding like the Bartles & James guys...thanks so much for your support.

I have a call in to my RE to ask about the darker FRER. We're in the midst of a huge snowstorm, so who knows if/when she'll return my call.

Dropping in from another DDC to tell you that my first beta, 12dpiui, was ELEVEN. Freaking 11. And I had had numerous +'s on every test imaginable.

14dpiui it was 23. I was beside myself and just about gave up, really. I kept going to all these random forums reading about women who considered a "low beta" to be 75. lol.

But, I am 23 wks pregnant with a healthy baby girl, and all is well. Your lines are getting darker, and you might have a late implanter or just a plain low beta baby. COngrats.

Mama to nine gorgeous babies, with finale #10 due April'14.

Nikki - Thank you so much for your story..definitely keeps hope alive for us!

Well, I just returned from beta #2 - should be getting the results by 3 pm.

I'm feeling pretty okay with things lately - as evidenced by this photo:

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x...2/IMG_5814.jpg

13 DPIUI is without a doubt darker than 12 DPIUI. I would have included 11 DPIUI but the results window has turned a really icky yellow...and I doubt you all want to see my pee.

Really hoping for good numbers this afternoon to go along with darker tests. I'll keep ya updated.

LOL, Leah...I've been throwing my 3-days-ago-tests away because they turn yellow. YUCK! Mine look just like yours, slightly darker each day! My one yesterday was really dark.

That's a great thing, hoping your beta number is great too!

1:30 pm update:
Got a call from the lab. They lost my blood. Unbelievable.

They asked if I could come in again to have a re-draw. I got there as fast as I could, but now they don't think that I will have the results by the end of the day even though she put a STAT priority on it. The kicker is because it's Friday, I won't get the results until Monday.

This is not my life.:

4:00 update:
Finally got it back.

36.

Okay, it's still on the low side, but it increased almost FIVE-fold from the measly 7 on Wednesday. Baby steps, you know? RE is VERY encouraged. I have a repeat draw on Monday. I have one more test to take tomorrow and then I think I'll actually believe it's true.

Thanks again to all of you.

Can't wait to obsess over every pregnancy sign & symptom with you.

Hey there, I'm in your boat! Though I never had the pleasure of seeing a positive on my HPT on DPO's 10-14, but on day 14 I had my beta done and RE called me with a 5 ......FIVE! He pretty much convinced me I wasn't preggers etc, I was so upset. He had me go back on Tues for another draw and low and behold it was 45 and then again two days later and it was 95!!!!! So there Mr. RE! LOL

Anyway, it's nice to have some company on the "low side". I was so freaked initially. And though they have told me since my latest data they are "encouraged", they are still "guarded". But at least I can finally say "I'm pregnant!" Not that I'm saying it to too many people at the moment!

Congrats to everyone here! It's great to finally be apart of a due date club!
