lol you'd think by pregnancy #4 I'd be an old hat at this..
is it normal to feel like I have a semi hard citrus fruit in my pelvis?
and could I feel some movement already?

(okay part of it was I didn't clue in until being 5 months preggo the last time...)

8 might be enough

Ok, first I thought you were saying you were constipated and I was going to say I relate!! But I guess you are referring to your uterus? I am pregnant with baby #4 too, and I do feel bigger this time.

Blessed mama of four

Well, I can't relate to the citrus in belly thing, but I SWEAR that I have been feeling movement for almost 2 weeks now. This is my third so I am quite familar as to what it feels like, and it most certainly does not feel like gas!
How many weeks are you, Shiloh?
Anyone else feeling it???

No citrus here, but I'm pretty sure I felt a single bump in there at 8wk6d. I'd flung my hips to the right and felt a teeny bump on the left. I totally swished him into me. (Sorry Kiddo.)

I'm a first-time mom. Can you veterans tell me: At 9 weeks, could movement almost feel like tiny vibration? If so, I may be feeling it. So darn hard to tell!

Only #3 for me and I definitely feel some heaviness in the pelvis. Movement? I'm not sure. I think I'm only feeling gas but sometimes it does feel strange. I think I'm hypersensitive to things I normally ignore right now though!

Mom of a 7 yr old, 4 yr old, and 1 yr old. Wow. How did that happen?

I also feel my uterus growing and getting bigger/harder. And it does kind of feel like a grapefruit or other hard ball. The feelings of "movement" I've had though, I attribute to gas.

I read somewhere that at 10 weeks your uterus is supposed to be the size of a grapefruit...so what you're feeling isn't far off, I'd reckon.

I started feeling weird "buzzing" every time I would lay on my right side when I was about 10 weeks pregnant with my son. Everyone told me I was crazy, and that couldn't be the baby yet. I felt obvious fetal movement at 16 weeks, so they wrote that down as the quickening, but I still swear that buzzing at 10 weeks was him.

8 weeks here, too. I hear ya on the grapefruit thing (and the bladder thing Not sure whether I like it or not. I'm kinda staying away from palpating for awhile, so I don't freak myself out.

My u/s tech did a game with me on my first pg. He turned the screen so I couldn't see it and I described the movements whenever I felt them. He was very skeptical at first, but he verified that I was feeling the baby at 10weeks-and I'd been feeling them for a couple of weeks or so already. That was my first pg. Since this is my third pg, I'm sure that I'm feeling my uterus expanding as well as the baby moving, too. It helps me to feel more confident in this pg. Whenever I feel the movements, I talk to the baby-just like I did with my first.

Interestingly, I rarely interacted with my second, that ended in a stillbirth. I knew something was off and I avoided dealing with it, I think.

I'm 9.5 weeks and I've been feeling fluttering for a while. I notice it more if I lay on my left side and earlier in the day. I think this little baby bumper sleeps during the night (so why can't momma sleep). I agree onthe grapefruit thing as well and discovered that it simply the uterus growing and moving upward.
