I just saw your post today. I am due a few days before you on July 28th. When I was at 8 weeks my doc discovered a subchronic hematoma. Just this morning I had bright red blood and am going in for an U/S at noon to make sure everything is okay. I just wanted to send you hugs because this is a very hard thing to go through. Blood just never sounds good when you are pregnant. I hope everything continues to go well for you.

So happy the baby is okay!!!!! I love hearing good news. Especially when the situation is so nerve wrecking. Now it's time for you to get some much deserved rest.

I just wanted to send you . I had a sub choreonic hemmorage with my 3rd baby. I bled a lot and had horrible cramping much, much worse than a period. I was going in for u/s's a lot to check on things and everytime she was there bouncing around, and I would be in complete shock. And I can say I've known a few people IRL and everyone has had healthy babies, even though the doctors warn that this isn't always the case. Just take it easy, lots of rest. The best of luck to you and peanut.

Thanks so much for all your support, mamas! It means so much. I am still a nervous wreck--this morning a little more blood again (not very much) and I guess I'm afraid for the rocky road ahead. There are never any guarantees, of course, but this prospect of continued constant threat of m/c is crazy. I want to feel like a strong pg mama, not a nervous wreck! I'll give it a few days, and try to work on my attitude: in search of serenity. Thanks, MaryLang for sharing your experience.

ETA: and I am wondering what's happened with grlpowers hematoma and ultrasound (post 39)! Hope everything is ok! Going over to July DDC to see if you[ve posted any update there, mama. No update there, please let me know.
