We weren't planning or expecting a shower, since this is our 2nd child and the first is only 4. BUT, my BFF just told me that she's throwing me a shower, since I didn't know most of my friends with the first pregnancy and they want to give us presents. I thought that was so sweet. So, this time around it is all friends and I am super excited because a handful of them knit!

We don't really *need* anything, between hand-me-downs from DD, cousins and friends - so we are registering for stuff I normally wouldn't have. i.e. I decided to register for a few packs of 7th generation dipes, for the first couple weeks.

I have the best friend ever.

hello everyone

I have to host a bridal shower in September and I'm looking for suggestions or tips anyone can give me on what to do with 30-35 ladies of all ages & backgrounds. I should be fun, but I'm kind of stuck on games/activities to interest a wide range of people.

Any help would be appreciated ...

My MIL is a pastor and her church is having a pretty traditional one for me in a week (different city) and my church is having one in July that's going to be a green shower (cloth diapers, hand-me-down clothes and supplies, organic and fair trade.)

My childhood best friend and her mother are having a big and probably very traditional one in late July that most of the women in town will likely be invited to LOL
