Anyone experiencing this at all? I had some contractions lastnight and since then I have a spot on the left side of my uterus that just hurts. It hurts when she is against it or bumps it, and it hurts when I touch it. It seems odd. Baby is moving fine and I do not have any other symptoms like bleeding or anything...it is just bugging me though.

My uterus feels sore all over. It didn't strike me as anything strange.

Woke up this morning and it feels better. Got myself all worried lastnight because I looked it up online and it could be a sign of an abruption or chorioamnionitis . Spoke to my MW lastnight and she had also said to watch it closely and if the pain got worse to find a MD to speak to or go to the ER. I am just glad it feels better today. Maybe it is just related to her positioning or something.

Mine seems to be the right side. I had to actually hold my hand there awhile and massage the spot last night to alleviate the pain. Mine felt like RLP, but I'm still keeping an eye out for it. Hasn't happened yet today, but we'll see about this evening. I'm paranoid after 2 c/s. Glad you're feeling better!

I get crampy/pains every time after I have a bout of contractions. They usually go away within a day or two.

I think you guys are describing a different kind of pain than I have. I just feel really "stretched out."

It seems to me that pain from an abruption or chorioamnionitis would be pretty intense. Like, you'd know something was up!

Actually I was surprised to see that the pain does not have to be overwhelmingly intense for either...which is kinda scary. There are different levels of abruption, ranging from mild pain with no bleeding to severe pain and hemmorraging. Chorio though is also associated with being "ill" fever and flu-like symptoms with the sore uterus. Hopefully none of us mamas here have to deal with either.
