My OB did a quick ultrasound to check fluid levels today at my 36 week appointment, and while she was doing it she measured the head. I'm one day shy of 36 weeks, baby girl's head is measuring 39!

I know ultrasounds can be off, but my OB said baby girl held very still and she got a really good measurement. She said "Wow, did your DS have a big head when he was born?"

LOL! I hope she decides to come a little early!

Mama to a 5.5 yr old boy and a 2.5 yr old girl.  Expecting baby 3 (another girl!) late June

We have big heads on my side of the family...luckily the almost 11 pounder has a head shape like dh. All of my boys dh and my son can wear the same sun hats.. the one with the big head is 3, the other one is six and a half and my dh..this baby is measuring a week behind for head size so hopefully it will be a nice narrow cranium not the mellon ball heads that run on my family
My head is so big I can rarely find a woman's sun hat that fits....all dem der brains..

and yes u/s are notoriously inaccurate...
penis vs umbilical cord - looks the same

8 might be enough
