I thought it was really funny that the voting was split 50/50...until I saw there were only two votes so far

I'm in Kansas City, Missouri. Just moved here in February and really like it. This is about the smallest city (pop ~450,000) DH and I would like to live in. That's just us though.

I said small city, but we are Air Force and we live on base. The surrounding city is small, and I guess base is a lot like a *really* small city!

I live in a small city with very rural roots. Plenty of people around here are farmers and have quite a bit of land. We live in a tract development. One day I want to have a little bit of land though where I can plant a huge garden and keep some animals.

I suppose technically we're in a suburb of Copenhagen, but I don't call it that because it's nothing like any suburb I've ever been to in the US. It's just like being in Copenhagen except with a different postal code. :P

I live in the middle of suburbia. The puget sound coastline branching out from Seattle is pretty much a suburban sprawl. Actually... I guess i'd technically be on the edge of a break in the suburbia. There's a tiny break between Everett and Marysville. But then it's all back to suburbia again. hehe. The further north you go though, the less suburban it becomes... and eventually the towns border on the term "rural" until you reach bellingham anyway. And of course there are lots of rural towns out along the edge of the mountains and through them.

Hmm.. and i guess you might wonder why'd i'd choose to live in such a place? Well... because it's close to the base. It's actually much closer than the base provided "off base" housing is. lol. It's also more affordable. We save money living where we do. hehe. I would much prefer to live in a smaller city not attached to suburbia though.

I think you need a "small town" option on your poll!

I'm not sure whether to check suburbs or country. There's a farm two houses down, so I guess that makes us country? We're not really all that far out, though. We're close enough to the city/shopping.

I live in the subs that's right next to a craptastic smallish spread out city, and it's not my cuppa at all. We're military and we're so trying to move next year if it's possible, and hopefully I'll like the next place better...

We only have three pygmy wethers. We started with two but they were hog wild -too fast to pet so we got a third one and he is a cutie (retired showgoat and great with the toddler)

I live in a little southern beach town where every morning like clockwork the fisherman go to the gas station for coffee, cigs, and lotto scratch offs. An hour or so later I can see their boats out in the ocean dragging nets. It is pretty nifty.

Suburbs sort of... small city suburbs? Does that exist? I live in a tiny town in between two medium sized cities. It was actually voted one of the best places to raise a family.
