If you scroll down there is another October DDC for 2009. (: for them for us.)

That was us a year ago ...remember when we were at the bottom and wanted to be closer to the top.

Ohhhh! That really hits home. Hooray for the new Oct mamas! Wow, I cannot believe it was a year ago. We were all so anxious to not be last on the list and then so anxious to be next in line for delivery! I hope their DDC is as awesome for them as this was for us.

Tara I think you hit on what I keep thinking.... 'when we first started' we couldn't wait for all those other DDC's to drop off the list ....... now that it's us it's not so fun to drop off LOL!!!!

Funny thing is I was telling Dh that it would be utterly embarrassing to be pg right now b/c we'd be due in October again!!! We have got to stop behaving like teenagers when it comes to birth control...

Oh my gosh yes! We just finally... well, you know... and the whole time I couldn't stop thinking how I'd be due the same month just one year later if that dratted condom failed..

I too agree it's not so fun to see the older months drop off when it's you that's dropping off!

This is so bittersweet!

I'm so happy for oct 09 mamas, but am so sad my first pregnancy journey is officially "over".

Either way, I'm so happy for them. I too hope their DDC is as awesome as our is/was.

Carrie SAHM to Nora Caitlyn (5) and Finnley Dax (2) homebirthing, breastfeeding, babywearing, intactivist, doula mama!

I'm just surprised there are so many of them who know they're pregnant already - they're only 4-5 weeks along! I didn't even begin to suspect until I was about 6 weeks along, and didn't get that life-changing until about 8 weeks!

I was 3 wks along too.
We were on a ski trip up in Mammoth Lakes and I fell down during a ski lesson feeling so dizzy so I took a pee stick test the next morning b/c I just knew.
We had been "trying" since Christmas so I was very hopeful and looking for symptoms.

Happily married with two tots (babyboy.gif J 10/18/08) & (babygirl.gif T 5/03/10)
