all of a sudden I feel really nervous about my u/s tomorrow. In the past with the boys all I could think about was finding out the sex of the babies that I never gave the rest of the u/s much thought. Now that we aren't finding out the gender all I keep thinking about is the fact that this u/s isn't actually a gender test it's to see if anything appears wrong with the baby. What if something is wrong?? I am so freaking out about this.

I'm sure all will be fine.

DD was found to have choroid plexus cysts at our u/s with her (loose marker for trisomy 18 and 21). I've never been able to relax at an u/s ever since so I understand the feeling.

Hi,

My ultrasound is today, and I'm definitely nervous too. Good vibes your way....
I'm trying to relax and think of it as just a time to check in with the baby and
make sure everything's ok.

cheers,
Heather

Hugs. It is really common for women expecting their second or third or more babies to worry about how baby is doing. It is kind of like "I've been so blessed...why would I be lucky enough to have three healthy babies?"...SOOOOO common. I hope you have a great time at your ultrasound and feel reassured by the results .

Thank you. I'm having #2 and I have many worries, mostly due to the place where I have to birth but there's other issues too, so this post has kinda helped me see that it's normal to be worried if all is well.

This has been me this entire pg.

I'm sure I'm going to m/c because I haven't yet (well, I think I had one right before getting pg this time, but it was too early to even test yet)

I wonder if there's something wrong with this baby since our other 2 have been healthy.

Etc etc etc

I had a few fleeting thoughts like these too. It's not a fun way to feel. I'm so sorry you're feeling stress since you don't have the gender to distract you. Enjoy some hot tea and maybe a warm relaxing bath. Everyone's thoughts will be with you for tomorrow, I'm sure.
