Yeah! Now I can say, "next month" when people ask when I'm due. Maybe they will stop insisting I'm having twins.

I'm gonna pull a total bratty little sister maneuver and point out that I posted this sentiment the other day under the heading "Crazy!" saying in a few short days we could say we'd be due next month.

Hah! Beat You!

I'm kidding of course

I'm just happy it's true.

LOL! I did see that thread, and I thought about just bumping it... but you're not the only bratty little sister on here. Wanted my OWN thread!

:

I'm just so stinkin' excited. I'm less than 2 weeks away from being legal for my birth center birth (36 weeks), less than 3 from term (if we go by 37) and less than 6 from due. There's almost no way I won't have a baby next month, unless I go more than 3 weeks overdue (please God, no).

I have about 6 weeks- 6 1/2 weeks because they will do an induction or schedule the birth almost certainly (diabetes) so in a way it is really looking closer for me, and I have tons of stuff to do. My house to clean and organize--corners behind furniture--a horrible messy attic that I can hardly walk in, ect. But I dont want anyone to see my mess so Im ready to start nesting for sure. We had 2 surprise phone calls from out of state saying that we are getting company, one family for overnight and one family for a "formal " supper so now I am putting my "nesting" on hold for one more week, but I am so ancy to get started on last minute things!

I've got 8 weeks, which when put that way still makes me feel 2 months away... but technically I AM due next month... and I like it better that way!!! I can't wait to meet this little person whose foot I've been playing with for weeks now (loves to shove it out my right side)!

Oooh, me too! Or anytime the first week in October would be quite alright. Too much later than that, and I risk not being able to go to a friend's wedding. Well, unless I go to 42+2, and go to the wedding waddling. But really, any time between Oct. 1st and the 30th is fine. Don't really want a Halloween baby. And I REALLY don't want a November baby.

ETA: Actually, any time in September after the 18th (with the exception of Sept. 30th) would be fine too. (Sept. 30th is my mom's birthday and sister's anniversary. Will keep my legs crossed that day.) I've *really* put too much thought into this, I think.

Anytime after September 14th, this little one can decide to show up. I'm keeping her in at least 2 more weeks! I want to birth at home!

That being said, I can't WAIT for her to arrive! I can't wait to feel better, and meet my daughter, and finally...start losing some of this weight! (Ok is that totally terrible to say? If so, just ignore me!)

Can't wait, can't wait!

me too. 8 weeks still isn't much though! we have zero homebirth supplies. my goal is to get them all together next month. DH will be on travel for 10 days so i'm going to have to get my butt in gear and hope that this complete and total exhaustion will lift somewhat. i just want to sleep all day!

but we took some really fantastic birth classes and i am really excited for the birth - going through that amazing process and transformation. and hearing everyone's birth stories, that is the best!

I've definitely hit that I can't wait to not be pregnant stage this last week. Only 46 days to go, unless she decides to be fashionably late! I want her to cook as long as possible of course, but man am I ready to feel normal again!
