Does anyone have any experience with Ebay for a different country?

I checked out the Ebay France and found three sellers with a couple of LeapPad books each. I have emailed them but I wonder if I'm wasting my time.

Assuming they are willing to ship to the US, will I be able to do this out of my Ebay US membership, with my PayPal US account?

If so, will I have the benefit of any PayPal protection noted in the listing if something goes wrong? Or would I be taking a bit of a gamble?

you may want to call the paypal customer service number for that one. they would better be able to tell you. google paypal customer service phone number and you should get a toll-free number for them.

I have no idea. I have bought from e-bay Australia and Canada and was happy. I just assumed that rule of law applied so if I had huge problems I could pursue it and that Paypal protections applied. But I agree that you would want to speak with Paypal on that.

It's not that the stay-at-home-parent gets to stay home with the kids. The kids get to stay home with a parent. Lucky Mom to DD1 (4 y) and DD2 (18 mo), Wife to Mercenary Dad

I've purchased a number of things from French sellers on e-bay using a US e-bay and paypal account. Had no problems with the transactions. Don't know what paypal's policy would be if something went wrong, but daresay that they wouldn't advertise the protections (or would post a huge disclamer) if they weren't available to US buyers purchasing abroad.
