I can't seem to find any!!! And what's worse, many of the obviously Hispanic baby dolls I find have blue eyes...?!

I can order a custom doll, but that runs into money I wasn't prepared to spend on a baby doll.

I'm getting to where I think I'm going to have to be a dollmaker for a short period of time! Thoughts? Dark, curly hair... medium/dark skin... dark brown eyes.

this is a great website for hispanic dolls, I think they only have 1 boys and 1 girl (fiesta doll) with curly hair though.

Thank you! Right above that was a Rosy Cheeks fully washable baby doll with much longer hair than my daughter, but also really great. I thought I'd seen that site last year but I guess not because I'd never seen either of those dolls--so thank you. I'm realizing now my daughter's hair is actually black, but this is WAY closer than I've come before.

I also wanted to mention madame alexander dolls (the 13in like american girls line) also carry hispanic looking dolls. In fact they have a few choices and I *think* I saw one with curly hair (cant remember if black or brown) that was shoulder length. I've seen them at toysrus and costco and a few places online. They are pretty cute similar to an american girl doll so more appropriate for a older child.

Ugh, so annoying, right? We ended up getting this doll for DD: http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx?...t=LM_SweetAsMe It doesn´t have curly hair but it looks by far the most like DD and was reasonable priced.

But we also found a doll sold in Brazil (I´m not sure if it´s sold in the US but it´s worth looking) called Colacao Lady and they have older looking dolls that are poseable that have dark hair/eyes with curly hair. We might end up buying one for DD eventually but they were pretty exensive for a doll for a toddler.
