My almost 4 year old daughter has asked me if she can send and receive mail with another kid. She is just starting to write some words so I would probably be helping her write- and I think she wants to exchange drawings. She is interested in drawing and making art, animals, families, and just learning about the world and life in general.

If your child would be interested in corresponding please let me know

Oooh, what a great idea! DS turns 4 on the 17th. He is just working on his printing and I think it could be a fun project for him. We are in Canada and would love snail mail as it is such a treat to get fun mail!

Oh we live in both a Metropolitan city and a very small town (we spend time in both homes)

I have a just turned four year old nicknamed HotRod/Dylman, would love to do some snail mail. He had snail mail before but they have flaked out on him. So wondering if you and your kid is up to it, once a month for a start since I know the holidays are the busiest time of the year.

I have an almost 4 year old boy (March, 2007) that would be over the moon to have a pen pal! He would love snail mail from a friend and would be overjoyed to send art and writing (with momma help) treasures!

Oooh, my almost 4 year old would love this too!  He is dying to write anything these days and if I spell words for him, he is capable of writing a sentence or two at a time.  He would also love to send pictures/drawings too.  He will be 4 in March if anyone out there is still in need of a penpal!

Hm, sounds like we have a full-fledged 4yo penpal club here lol...

My DD just turned 4 and I think she would LOVE this too.  We're on the east coast of Canada.  She loves to dance, draw, and make up silly stories.  PM me if you'd like to penpal with us.  :)

has anyone found a pp through this thread?  the 2 people i pm'd have not responded.  i have a going-on-5 year old dd and we live in brooklyn - i think it would be great to hook up with a family in a more rural part of the country.  dd loves making artwork, embroidering, playing outdoors, reading and loads of pretend play.  pm me if interested!

Hi Stacey, thanks for the info. on Bratt. homeschoolers. I'll try to see your friend at the farmer's market. Also, my 6 1/2 year old would love a pen pal, good ol' snail mail.

My son will be 5 in June and said he would love to have a penpal. He really interested in the states and Geography, so it would be really cool to have a penpal from across the country. We live in Nebraska.

Hello!  I am brand new to these boards but I would love to do this!   I have a 4 yo and 2 yo and I am in rural NC.  We can send pictures of our neighbors the cows.  I will try to PM some of you but I have not really had a chance to play with these boards yet.  If anyone is interested anywhere worldwide (never posted a letter out of the country before, that would be an interesting new experience).  We all love getting mail when it's not a bill.  I would love to set something up.

I've got a 3 yo DD who'd be interested. She can't write yet (although she thinks she can, and loves to write "letters" "numbers" and lines of "text"), and while she loves drawing and painting, she's still more into paint effects than actual images. But she loves getting postcards from her grandparents, and sending postcards back to them.

We're in New Zealand. Oh, and I think DD would especially love getting letters from someone who lives more rural (and can send pictures of cows or ducks or anything else, as she adores animals!). We live in the city (but in a tiny house in a green, leafy, hillside suburb).

Anyone interested in a slightly older pen pal?  My dd is 7.5 and would love a friend to write to!

Hello!

I'm not sure if you've received any replies yet, but my 4 yr. old son, Desmond, would love to be your daughters penpal.  We live in a little town in the USA.  He loves being outside too, although we don't live on a farm.  We do however live near farms and we have a nice sized garden that he is excited about.  He likes to play music, draw, write, cook, and travel (any way he can!).  Be Well, Molly (Desmond's mother)
