Now we wait and see. I have a feeling she wont read past the first page. She is due in about 5 weeks with her first boy. I hope she reads the article and pray she changes her mind.

Give her at least a few days to peruse the article.

Ask her if she has any questions.

Has she ever indicated to you what her reason(s) to circ may be?

You could ask if she read the part about . . . ?

Ask how she feels about female circumcision.

Just wondering where I can get a copy of this article? My cousin is pregnant now and planning on circing if it is a boy (she doesn't know yet). I would like to pass this article on to her.

Thanks,
Jaime

There is a sticky at the top of this page for the "fleiss articles"
http://www.mothering.com/10-0-0/html...cision85.shtml
and you can also order a beautiful hardcopy of this from Mothering here:
https://www.mothering.com/books-and-back-issues.html

love Sarah

There's a copy at www.mothersagainstcirc.com that comes out better than the Mothering version.
