And hadn't seen it before. This is what Dr. Sears has to say regarding circ. I think it's actually pretty compelling, and clearly debunks any medical benefit from circ as well as "locker room" arguments.

If others think this is good, should it be added to the "resources" page? For better or worse, I think parents do respect Sears' opinions on child rearing/etc.

I agree. I am glad that he clearly states there is not any medical reason though b/c the people who chose to be ignorant about circ may see this and say hey wait a Dr is saying there is not even one medical benefit?

I haven't looked at his website in a while, but I know a few years ago there were parts on the website that were good like that, and other parts that were less compelling.  I'm pretty sure that's probably the same, so if you send someone there they might find both the good and the bad parts depending on how much looking around they do.

The Baby Book is somewhat the same .... it isn't really going to change someone's mind, although it might cause someone to ask a few more questions.

If you search for circumcision on the sears page it will come up with a bunch of articles such as:

I have big problems with this page, particularly on the comments regarding cleanliness.

painless circumcision should be a birthright?  how about bodily integrity should be a birthright.  all the other words i'm thinking would break the UA.

Baby the babies while they're babies so they don't need babying for a lifetime.
