My friend took her 2-week-old son to the pediatrician for his checkup today along with her (almost) 5-year-old daughter. The pedi asked why she didn't circumcise him (out of total curiosity) and her daughter says, "He's not um-sized because we aren't cutting his penis like that! Have you SEEN the video??"
I swear I responded to this already. I'm glad the little girls said what she said, especially to an "authority" figure. However, I truly hope she has not seen the video. It gives me nightmares.
our local children's/science museum has a bunch of surgery videos to watch. one of them is a circumcision video. Its very graphic and disturbing, but not an 'Internet' video. She could have seen it like that or as a teaching aid.
I don't see any difference between showing a Graphic and disturbing Internet video and a similarly graphic and disturbing video at a Children's museum. There is no reason that a child that young needs to watch such a video.

You edited your reply before I got a chance to get back here but please don't think I was trying to argue - I was just disgusted that a Children's museum would have such a video.
