Video Question + "Extras"

I recall seeing a video somewhere describing normal variations in the human body and not to be ashamed of them, like hair color and body shapes. One of the things brought up was that some penises have foreskins while others are circumcised, which someone commented is different from the others they talked about (not natural, but rather someone decided to cut a part of you off). Does anyone have a link to this video I'm referring to?

Speaking of possible cultural differences, a few months ago I overheard someone asking whether she should take French or Spanish next year. Someone brought up the pros and cons of each language, and one of them was that in French you have a lot of "extra" silent letters (in contrast to Spanish which is largely phonetic). I said those letters are not "extra" but an integral part of the language (like how foreskin is not "extra" skin but an integral part of the male anatomy).

I have never seen that video, but would find it very interesting if you do come across it and can post a link.

I agree - calling a foreskin "extra skin" is ridiculous.

It's not quite an apt comparison. The foreskin has an active use as part of the penis.

Some of the silent letters in French have a visual use (in showing agreement, etc.) and some do not.

Of course, the language with the most useless and perplexing spelling in English.
