My biggest objection to circumcision has always been that it should be the male's choice. By circing at birth, we remove his choice forever.

Has anyone besides me noticed that when someone is advocating circumcision as an infant to avoid the possibility of a circumcision when older, they talk about how horrendously painful it is and the pain lasts for weeks or months but when they want to circumcise an older male, it's possible "discomfort" and the effect is "usually gone in less than a week?" OK, so which is it?
Yeah...funny that, eh?

I guess if you are the one signing off on it for someone else the discomfort is minimal...maybe a touch or writers cramp if you have a really long name?
