I have actually boycotted one WAHM because of her vehement views on this topic.... I don't feel bad about it either

We could easily make a myspace or LJ community for it.

If you set that up I can start compiling names. We could have a questionere or somethingor maybe just make a thread here and in other places. We would have to keep it to PM when we discuss the other places to go to!!

Anyone in other than me and Fi???

I think a Pro-Integrity Business List is a great idea! I'd be happy to put a copy of it on my site as well if that's helpful (hey, the more links to each other, the better, eh?)

If you start getting stuff together I can start on an LJ or LJ community for it on Monday. The difference is with an LJ only I can post updated links, but in a community anyone who joins could post updates/links. (membership would be moderated so they'd have to be approved and all posts would have to be approved first too). LMK what you think.

I would love to see a positive list. I already boycott major businesses as well as WAHMs who make known beliefs that are strongly in disagreement with something I care about.

:Patty :fireman Catholic, intactalactivist, co-sleeping, GDing, HSing, no-vax Mama to .........................:..........hale:

Sorry this took me so long, we have chicken pox in the house!

Ok, I say we post this in the WAHM and WAHD forum's on the parenting boards we post at, and report back the results.

We are doing a listing of intact friendly WAHM's and WAHD's so parents can know who they're buying from. This listing could be a good way to promote your business.

If you would like to be considered just fill out the questions below, you can post your answers in this thread, or you can PM them to "Minky" or "Fi." Yes you have to put the period after Fi.'s name to PM her!!

(1) What is your name (as you want it listed)?
(2) What is the name of your business or store?
(3) What does your business or store do/sell?
(4) Which of the following is closest to your view on (non religious) male infant circumcision?
a) I am against routine infant circumcision and think it should be illegal
b) I am against routine infant circumcision for my family but think it is a parent's choice.
c) I am in favor of routine infant circumcision for my family but think it is a parent's choice if they don't want to do it.
d) I am in favor of routine infant circumcision for all children.

I'm going to try to get on tomorrow and post these up unless Fi or Kira or anyone else wants to. Kira, I wasn't sure if u minded people PMing you their data or if you just wanted to put up the list when where done.

If anyone have any suggestions for how to improve it feel free to use them, this is just what I came up with in the past few days. I tried to juts avoid the religious issue because you kind of have to on MDC.

Yes, cos MDC does not appreciate those of us with two letter names

Oh and yes, I say lets post it over there. I'll check around LJs anti-circ communities for WAHM/WAHDs today as well. We've been having a rough week too so its okay that you're slow cos I am too.

Did you get a chance to look at Livejournal or Myspace account?
I understand if you didn't, it has been a hard week here. Itchy kids and no sleep all around.

If it has to be a username you could use intactlisting or supportintactfriendly

Somethin like that.

We have one name from WAHM Well.

Maybe taking the names from that other thread who thought circ'd babys wers sooooo cute was a better idea and having a negative list.

But Let's see if anyone else sign's up for my idea first.

'Intact friendly' sounds like something that just means you don't discriminate against the intact.

Maybe something more proactive? My mind is blank, but I'm thinking.

How about a WAHM promoting Genital Integrity list...with the requirement that they have to either have some anti-circ info/links on their page or a pro-intact product?

I don't pay enough attention on message boards to make a connection between a poster and their business. I don't know if I'd necessarily boycott just because they circ. I do know, though, that I'd boycott if they sold items on their site supporting circ, vax, bottle feeding, or anything else I'm against, even if they had a product that I really really liked. And I would tell them (otherwise they have no clue you're boycotting and it's kind of pointless)
