I help out in my church's nursery once a month. I was looking for a simple diagram on how to clean intact pensises to put above the changing table - something that is not too wordy

Because...? Is it so that they don't try to retract your son? Or just in general? There isn't a diagram needed. Just wipe and go. Are you worried they'd try to retract an intact boy? Even circ'd boys I've seen changed at daycares have never had anybody retract and clean in there and THEY are the ones who need it!

Yes, I am worried! I have never seen an intact boy in the nursery. There are several nursery workers. I thought a handout would be something I could put above the changing table.

Perhaps printing out the mid section of this page:http://www.geocities.com/raisingintactsons/

Otherwise just make your own.If you are really concerned just have people come and get you to do it.Otherwise just tell each of them(who care for your son) that pulling on the foreskin will damage that area and cause infection.
Best wishes!
Sara

Your question made me realize that I haven't given any thought to what could happen if a caregiver gets weird ideas about caring for the intact penis (thinking they need to "clean" it or something). My older boys were virtually never cared for by anyone but dh and me and my parents (who raised intact sons) so it wasn't an issue. But with my 20 month old I have been working full-time. DH cares for him during the day(we work opposite shifts). We have teenage kids who care for him at times, but of course the boys are intact themselves and the girls know they don't need to mess with his penis. Anyway, once school starts my dh will go to a 4 day/10hour work week - and that means one of our neighbors will need to watch Ryan for about an hour between the time he leaves and when I get home. I hadn't thought to find out if her little boys are circ'd or not, and if see make sure she knows not to get carried away with cleaning Ryan if it becomes necessary.

Thanks for asking this!
