Yeah, and I got the picture.

I still feel newborn boys in this country aren't treated very well.

Well, you're right about that. But it's from then on that women get get it. And there are still some men who view circumcision as OK, unfortunately.

OT:
This might be a bit of a stretch to say, but it's possible that within the circ'd male lymbic system, a part of it has a desire for vengence (granit not all circ'd men are this way), therefore treating women badly or wishing to inflict this onto their own son(s).

I know, I know, many of you are reading this going, "huh??? "

sick.
poor little fellas, suffering so much so that someone can have better looking acne scars.
sick. sick. sick.
it's like so many other things in medicine-follow the money and you will find the truth. wonder how much the hospitals and drs get paid per foreskin. wonder how parents might choose differently if they realized the drs have a financial incentive to encourage circ.

Oh man, this may take me awhile to find. I'll do my best.

The last I remember, I saw a segment from (I think "Birthing From Within"). A wise Russin MW included a study on the male lymbic system.

Off to hunting I go...

The fact that no one cares about this - or worse, considers that to be a "good, pleasing" scar is ...yes, vile.

Nope, the idea is that each has to fit in with the prescribed mold - the woman judged by her fitting a predetermined superficial beauty, and the man judged by his genitalia fitting the predetermined "right" aesthetic.

Dead on. And the man is seen as having less value if his penis isn't mutilated in the same way that society says is necessary. EVERYONE loses in this equation... and it perpetuates.

this probably isn't terribly far fetched. I think many American's are in fact brainwashed enough that If they starting charging people to keep their son's foreskin people would pay it. why? b/c if you have to pay for it it must be worth it!!! anything thats free is beneath them.

think about it. suddenly circumcision is free... and they are charging people not to remain intact. Intact suddenly has all of this value. they are paying for foreskin gosh darnit! there is nothing they can't afford! Doctor's wouldn't charge for it if it wasn't worth doing!

not that i think this is a good plan... i just think its entirely possible that if you had to pay to stay intact people who would ordinarily pay to circ.. would pay to stay intact.

I was reading on another site a pro circ was talking about the "natural line" around the shaft, as in it was SUPPOSED to be there in nature...so WEIRD. there nothing natural about that. She was arguing that circ does not cause a scar.

I agree the British involvement is strange. I think people here would tend to think it was foreskins from Jewish ceremonies. As a whole the British are too unaware that RIC even occurs to be up in arms about it. I had absolutely NO idea for a long time.

"donated by mothers..."
oh, brother.
i pay close attention to the way things are worded & the messages being sent between the lines. what it should say is "stolen from unconsenting infants without monetary compensation, even while the cosmetics companies are making stupid money off of their suffering"
barf.

They make it sound so nice... "donated" by mothers! I don't think so! The mothers don't have foreskins..only their baby boys have them! Or should I say 'had them'. That is so awful!!!

Is there a list of companies to boycott who use foreskins?

Circ doesn't work! Stop the violence of circumcison. Had another UP/UC/HB in August!

In addition to the thought of foreskins being used in cosmetics being disturbing. What about the picture at the top of the article of the "doctor" coming at that woman with a syringe. It was horror-movie creepy.

Is there a way to know that a product I use doesn't involve the use of foreskin in any way shape or form (from manufacturing to testing to anything else it could be used for)?
