Just wanted to pop in and say that I have an ally now... one of our close mutual friends is also very against circ and is going to talk to her. We had planned to be talking to her TOGETHER all along but then she moved, and I had no email or phone number for a few weeks. Finally got in touch and talked today and hopefully she can make a difference!!!

Yes!!!! Has another voice made a difference?

Reverse thinking here......... have you sat down with her and listened thoroughly to her fear of teasing thing even soliciting her to go more in depth with her feelings and thoughts? Maybe if she could give it a voice that had a compassionate listener and wasn't on the defensive she could see how shallow and ineffective a "reason" it is to choose circumcision.

My ally friend was unable to get hold of her before the birth... so he has arrived.

She finally was able to have the meds free labor and birth she tried for with the last 2 children...
Breastfeeding is going really well...
They are sidecarring the crib I think...
With their circumcized little guy.

, I'm sorry. I recently went through the same thing with a friend whom I sent info and talked to her about it but she also decided to circ. I know how sick it make you feel. At least you tried your very best.
