Trade you 7 year olds. Mine just gave herself a haircut because she "wanted short hair for the summer."

A friend of mine buzzed her dd hair really short. It was so adorable.

Perhaps give it a go.

My hairdresser did a good job fixing it. The woman's a genius. It's now a short bob with layers in the top to hide the chunk she took out. She really does look cute in short hair. She did it because my dumb**** ex-husband told her she wasn't allowed to get her haircut because he wants her to "be pretty" for Christmas pictures this year. I told her to ignore him and that she's pretty no matter what. And that next time he says something like that to let me know that it upset her and I'll handle him. Sigh.

My 6 yo DD is wonderful. I'm very lazy right now, and anytime I need something she says " yes ma'am" and hurries off to get it.

But she is a redhead, and does have her moments that I want to smack her.

What a sweet thing for your ds to say and do. My 10 yo ds prides himself on his cinnamon toast, and tries to make me some almost every morning, because whole grain bread is good for you.

sometimes you just gotta luv them, they do such sweet things, usually makes up for the oops I accidentally broke the glass trying to juggle it kinda of things.

My 2 y/o is my "mymin hepper" right now. Every night before we go to sleep, he brings out the vitamin bottles and very proudly hands them to me one at a time and then puts them away after I've taken them. Sometimes he even sits there with his little arms crossed looking at me like, "You better take these!!".

So cute and sweet!

I'll be 42 when the newest little one is born! Yowza!

These stories are so cute!

When my cousin's daughter was about 4, she cut one side of her hair really short and left the other long. Asked for an explanation, she said she had "a boy side and a girl side." I think that ROCKS.
